Aukela Unique & Distinguished Scholars is a safe haven where every child’s potential is nurtured regardless of their financial background. As a nonprofit microschool dedicated to serving low-income students, we strive to provide not just education, but a holistic experience. However, we're facing a financial gap that threatens our ability to offer essential mental health services, high-quality extracurricular activities and classroom resources. In addition, many of our families cannot afford the difference between the state scholarship and our tuition, so we are incurring the cost to fill the need.
